Golareh is a multi-disciplined artist, a creative director, a published author, an entrepreneur, and a mindfulness coach. She has post-secondary degrees in Criminology and Political Science from The University of Toronto, Journalism with a focus on Broadcasting from Ryerson University, and a Master’s Degree in Mass Communications from San Jose State University.
She started her professional career as a freelance reporter, working the crime and political beats at a number of regional Canadian newspapers. While at Ryerson, she joined the staff of CFMX Classical 96.3 FM as a tech-board operator, and later interned at CBC Newsworld International.
In 2000 she moved to California where while attending grad school, she worked as a freelance storyteller for Iranian.com and was a contributor to San Jose State University’s Access Magazine. Her article Ancient Faith, Modern War, earned her the Gold Circle Award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association in 2003.
In 2006, Golareh joined Fox Broadcasting Company where in 2011 she became Vice President of Production, Special Operations in their marketing department. While at Fox, she was the production executive in charge of On Air and Online marketing shoots. She also directed a number of promotional campaigns and produced numerous documentary projects.
In 2016, Golareh left Fox to launch her creative marketing, media and entertainment company MindTripz Inc. In January of 2017, she launched her second company, Gogimogi, a design house committed to the study of color and humor and inspired by nature. In December of 2019, she launched The Healing Salon, an online meditation center with a YouTube channel and a podcast.
In addition to her writing, entertainment, and entrepreneurial experience, Golareh is a multi-disciplined artist with a large portfolio of glitch and graffiti art, photography, and fine art. Her work has received Honorary Mentions by The International Photography Awards and has been featured in Voyage LA magazine.
Golareh also specializes in mindfulness meditation and positivity training. She is the host of The Healing Salon’s podcast, which includes guided meditations and mindfulness discussions.
Golareh is a published author. She wrote and illustrated her first children’s book “Gogi & Mogi Go To The Garden” in 2017 and is a regular contributor to Thrive Global.
