FOX took an innovative approach at introducing the characters of their comedy New Girl by creating an interactive music video that teased not only potential storylines, but also the relationships between the characters. Using the show's theme song "Hey Girl" performed by Zooey Deschanel, the music video offered viewers more than 950 variations through an interactive interface. We shot 26 scenes in one day, each taking place in a different room of their loft and including intricate choreographed numbers. The goal of the creative was not only to focus on the interactions between the characters, but to also turn the show's loft into an iconic place where these characters come together.
